the zoo with my littler boy. simple but good. he was in charge. he seems to love that. :)
the new “luxe” frames. oooh… ahhh… i’ve been getting more samples in. i’ll have to include a pic. yes i will.
project february… my new daily picture project for one month. check it out and maybe even take some pics of your kids too!
my five year old has had a cough and cold this week and i know it’s silly but i love his “raspier” than normal voice…especially his laugh. it’s pretty awesome!

We are now offering framing. Yippee! Get your pictures printed professionally and framed so they’re ready to hang. There are some ornate options (in multiple colors and styles) as well as some simpler frame styles. Frame samples are available to view.

Or have your images printed as lovely canvases that are ready to hang. These are the canvases that hang in my bathroom at my home and I love them because I love looking at the little bubbly people in them.

I’m not out shopping but I will fit in a little online Christmas shopping today. Are you Christmas shopping today? I thought I’d mention a couple of gift ideas in case you are buying a gift for someone who loves photography.

**I am also offering two photography workshops this winter to teach people how to use their cameras on manual. You can fill out the registration form and reserve a spot for your loved one (or yourself) here. The workshops are limited to only 6 people per date to keep it small and intimate. The spots are first come first serve. The dates are Saturday, January 28, 2012 and Saturday, February 25, 2012. I will be blogging more about these workshops soon, but you can read the details about our 2011 workshops here.

**If you or your loved one are not up for a workshop but want to give camera knowledge to your loved one then maybe the Learn Your Camera Workbook is a better fit for them. You can see more details on that workbook here.

my passion for photography

My two little boys and my amazing husband really drive my passion for photography. I love everything about photography. I really love creating something from nothing and I also love creating memories and begin able to hold onto them for so much longer as they pass so very quickly. Basically it’s about capturing memories of the people that I love. That kind of sums it up. Oh and capturing memories of the people that you love too….that’s what I hope to do in my business. :)

Well, today, after much hard work we launched a workbook called Learn Your Camera. If you have a fancy camera and you’d like to learn how to take better pictures, then you may want to check it out. There’s a blog and now…there’s a book….all trying to help you capture your own memories a little better. A little clearer. A little more in control of your fancy camera.
