I had the privilege of meeting this sweet family at a wedding I photographed in Cabo San Lucas last September (that was a super fun wedding!). They drove from the bay area, thanks Linda, you guys are awesome! It was a pleasure to spend a little bit of time with your sweet family.

Meet little Jett. He has grown quite a bit since his newborn photo shoot. What a handsome little man he has become with big beautiful curious blue eyes.
I’ve had the opportunity to photograph this family and these little boys a few times now… and I love it! :) This photo shoot was in honor of little Mr. Nash and the fact that he is now a standing up walking one year old. The best times (in my opinion) to photograph your little one during their first year is based on their abilities more than their ages. I recommend doing their photo shoots during these times:
1 – during their first 5-10 days of life, while they’re sleepy, bendable, and not full of baby acne.
2 – when they can push their head & chest up off the ground while laying on their tummy (usually around 4 months, but depends on the child)
3 – when they can sit up on their own (usually between 6 and 9 months)
4 – when they can stand confidently on their own (usually between 12 months and 14 months, depends on the child though)

It’s so fun to see this sweet couple with a little one. I love watching families grow and seeing them interact together. God gives us gifts in our little ones. They may cause us to sleep less, date each other less, and do more laundry, but they are a blessing…an amazing blessing. This little beauty is Elyse. Seriously, Daddy, you’re going to have to watch out. She’s a beautiful little girl. :)
