baby stallone

Seriously, this little guy. He melted my heart when I first met him. He’s adorable and has the sweetest little temperment. I did hear his intense cries at the end of our shoot as well. But oh what a precious little baby. Congratulations Annie and Seth. You have yourself a handsome little man.

precious christmas gift

This is little Elyse. What a tiny little sweetie she is. And what an amazing perfect Christmas gift. She arrived just about a week before Christmas. We had fun playing around with this little miss. She is precious, precious, precious. Thank you Lacey and Karl. It was so fun. She is fabulous.

sweet twin boys

These are the Briscoe boys, well two of them anyway. They have some older brothers but this is little Mr. Hayden and Mr. Braden. Seriously, how cute are they?

the demanby family

The Demanbys are another one of those amazing families that I feel privileged to know. Mama happens to be on bedrest right now so we decided to stay close to home and do some on their bed…appropriate, eh? But then we did venture out just a little to some nice trees, but they were just on the corner. We really didn’t take her far from home and we were very careful. :)

the esajian extended family

Out in the town of Kingsburg, out in the midst of a bunch of vineyards lives a sweet family, the Esajians. After raising boys, the Esajians are blessed with a whole bunch of granddaughters. Thank you Kathy and Larry, it was a pleasure spending time with your lovely family.

little miss saylor

This is Saylor. She’s a sweetie. Her sweet little face and sweet little spirit. Love it.

I just want to remind some of you mamas out there…that photo shoots don’t always go perfectly perfect. Saylor cried some during this shoot (mostly nearing the end) and her big brother didn’t go for it like we hoped. I feel like it’s like this for so many of us (we just assume that no one else is experiencing it)….photo shoots don’t always go like we have envisioned….but…that’s ok! After all, they’re kids. :) That’s what happens.  But, my hope is that we can always get some pictures that we didn’t expect during those times. Hey, it’s not just all of you out there. I’m a mom. I have little ones. My family had their photos taken by a friend of mine today and she had to bribe my little boys with jelly beans. They don’t always cooperate like we hope. But hey, we’ll still get something good! We will… :)

lovin the newborns…

I am loving taking pictures of newborn babies. They are just so stinkin precious! :)  My favorite is when they are one week old (or even newer) and they’re so sleepy and squishy and moldable (is that even a word?). Well, I love it and would love to take pictures of your precious baby when they are brand brand new. These little ones grow way too fast and will never be this itty bitty again.

Make sure and contact me with your tentative delivery date so that we can get something on the calendar while they’re still itty bitty and sleepy.

smiley little samuel

Little Samuel joined this family as baby number four so we definitely had to try to fit in a few of the little man with his big brother and sisters. Samuel was four weeks old when we took his pics and so he was old enough to have an opinion. It took him a little while to give in and submit to our ways, but he did fall asleep. Yay! Once he fell asleep he started dreaming and showing off with his sleepy smiles.

little miss emerson…

Ahhh, newborn babies… They are so sleepy and pliable and squishy and lovable. I could just squeeze them! But instead, I’ll just take their pictures. :) This is little Miss Emerson. So so sweet. I took pictures of Emerson’s big two year old brother a couple of months ago. Thank you Michelle for contacting me again to photograph your sweet newborn baby girl…

kenna ann

This is little Kenna at less than one week old. I just love her cheeks and her beautiful lipstick lips. What an awesome Creator we have and what a little gift Kenna is. Katrina, I know you’ll always have plenty of pictures of this little miss with Josh’s talented photography eye, but thank you for welcoming me into your home to play around with her and snap a few of all three of you. Love you!
