My faves from this past week (or a little more):

• time in the mountains with my little family, and no internet…gotta love that kind of break
• grateful for having been busy with photo shoots with wonderful clients.
• caramel macchiatos. i may have splurged and had a couple this week.   :)
• having my man back home after he was away for a few days. our family works so much better with him here.

• i love listening to my boys giggle and talk as they try to “fall asleep” in their bunk beds. it warms my heart.
• watching my boys learn how to keep a secret for their daddy’s birthday…they’re getting better but they still slip up constantly
• celebrating my man’s birthday. love him so very much.
• watching my boy “ring the bell” at swim lessons as he passed a level.
• so grateful for my clients who invite me into their homes and lives. i love hearing their stories and capturing some moments for them.

• grateful…still… for God’s grace and goodness. I know I’ve said this before on friday faves but that’s only cause it’s real and He just never changes.
• the elephant and piggie book series by mo willems… my boys love these books and they make us all laugh out loud together. seriously, worth checking out.
• newborn babies this week….oh the sweetness. i’m so grateful for my job.
• watching my big little boy out at the tennis courts. so stinkin’ cute.
• laughing with my husband at life, at dying cars, and at the hilariousness in difficult as well as sweet situations. he is so the right man for me.

• the zoo with my littler boy. simple but good. he was in charge. he seems to love that. :)

• my five year old has had a cough and cold this week and i know it’s silly but i love his “raspier” than normal voice…especially his laugh. it’s pretty awesome!

• my sweet clients. i am so grateful for the genuinely sweet clients that i am able to work with. :)
• the rain! i didn’t realize how much i’d missed the rain. it had been dry around here for quite a while. but now we’ve been all rained on and cleaned up. love it and loved splashing with my boys.
• new antique store finds! can’t wait to photograph some babies soon in my new props!
• my husband. he’s like … really great.

• A day off at home with all of my boys to start the week…hubby included. Those days are pretty much the best.
• Sweet, lovely, beautiful newborn babies. Loving photographing them inside during these chilly mornings.
• Some major pruning…basically a spring cleaning of the backyard.
• Rain…we got a little tonight and hoping for much more this weekend. Hoping to sit inside cozy as well as splash in some puddles with my little wiggly people.
• The Hunger Games books…. oooh so fun!
• Watching my boys play just dance kids with their cousins. Pretty awesome and hilarious at the same time.
• Our gracious, consistent God. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Favorite images this week:

• Glad my hubby’s home after being out of town for awhile. Our family works so much better with him here.
• The little things. Thankful for the little successes in the big picture of parenting.
• The wrestling and tickling kind of family time.

• Right now, this morning… (though I’m writing this on Thursday night, I know what tomorrow holds) … my hubby and two boys are home this morning. Oh the thought of a cozy jammie family morning fills my heart. :)
• Soccer. Love seeing my big boy work hard at a sport.
• Getting things checked off my list. I do like that.
• My hubby. I love him so.

My little Drew got to go on a complete tour of our nearby police station. He’s super into all that kind of stuff. I was so grateful for the detective that took the time to show him everything including getting in both a police car and on a motorcycle. So fun for my boy…
